Today was a great day to arrive at work!
My manager told me last night that she bought me a new cockatiel! It was so great to open up the bookstore and go meet my new little friend! It was so cute, they were perched together! A creamy yellow girl cockatiel!!!!!!! I love love love her! I named her popcorn. SO now i've got pirate and popcorn! They're both hanging out on my shoulders preening the curls at the bottom of my ponytail, it tickles so good! Pictures soon!
Oh yeah, and she bought me a new blue hoodie, zip up style baby!
owwwwww, that mole on my neck does not come off popcorn!

so between the birds, my hoodie, and a huge blended caramel starbucks frappucino i'm just friggin chillin like a villain.

Oh, and i saw "House of Wax" on saturday. good goddamm movie! And oh, how sweet it was to see Paris Hilton impaled through the head. You should watch the gag reel though because she's hilarious when they were shooting her scenes. I laughed my ass off!

ummm, the last time i got up before noon was like.......so long ago i can't even remember. I'm on my second iced latte and munching leftover bread from dinner. The cat got it's claw on pirate through his birdcage but he's okay, poor birdy bird.
feel sorry for me....
I'm working from 8am-2pm at the bookstore and then 3-11pm at 7-11.
Seriously though, work feels good, gives me the sense of accomplishment i thrive off of.

Had an argument with my Dad last night, i lent him 20 dollars at noon and by 9pm he had already spent it on beer. He's broke and was trying to bum a smoke off me last night. I love him but he needs to admit he has a major alcohol problem and get some help. grrr, dad, grow up, i'm so sick of looking after you.
He makes me really want to move out of eugene, or atleast in another part, many miles away.
I did some collaging last night, 'twas good.

my bird is trying to bite my hand because i'm typing. oh, excuse me mr.pirate but uh, i don't think so!

ok ok I'm up! I'm up! geez. I've recieved 8 phone calls in like 1 hour. So yeah, I'm going to a barbecue (god help me) and I said i'd pick up veggies at safeway for the barbecue (since i am soooooo not eating a steak, ewww gross). I LOVE grilled garlic. Keeps the mosquitoes away. Then, once i eat the garlic i'm gonna give my boyfriend todd a big 'ol kiss. ha ha. It's so hot here in eugene, OR. Take me to the river baby. I should be spending quite a bit of my day in the willamette river. Anyhoo, just came by the bookstore to feed and give fresh water to the 2 bengal cats, 3 doves, and my beloved cockatiel pirate.
Hope you all have a good day. But if i see one more fat old lady all got up in us flag shit i'm gonna point and laugh. I really don't like the color combo of red white and blue anyway.

holy moly, i just went to the pharmacy to pick u[ my scripts and the abilify costs over 300 dollars!!!!!!!!!! I have no insurance so that's a write off for that possibility. I'm wondering if i'll do okay just on the prozac because i don't want to play the whole meds game where we try all kinds of things. i am soooooooo not up for that kind of messing around with my body. That said, i'm visiting with my cockatiel who hasn't seen me in weeks because i haven't been ny the bookstore due to the hospital etc.

OH MY GOD I CAN"T BELIEVE I FORGOT THIS! Today, my manager gave me a bonus for staying so late tonight! I now have the fucking coolest coffee cup in the world. it's an alice in wonderland cup where alice is looking at the cat in the tree. ANyhow, when you fill it with hot water or coffee, the cat dissappears and all you can see is the smile! i am elated.
